EXA was established based on the experience acquired as licensee in Italy of Bailey Controls USA - leader in the field of instruments and controls (pressure transmitters and DCS). It takes over the business of commercializing Bailey products when Bailey is merged into ABB. Thanks to its know-how and connections with ABB, Exa becomes a channel for old & new ABB products:

EXA develops its expertise in the service, engineering and supply of packages of equipment for the power generation plants that were built worldwide by Ansaldo Energia from the late 1980 - e.g. major overhauling for le power stations (thermal) of Mers Al-Hadjadj (Algerie) ; Al-Mukha and Ras Katenib (Yemen) Rades (Tunisie), Zouk (Lebanon), Mohammedia (Morocco)
EXA expands its know-how of the operation and components of the Turbogenerator V94 developed by Ansaldo after the agreement with Siemens.
Masters the technical and commercial aspects of the WSLV specifications, following their evolutions and replacements
It is awarded ISO 9001 certification
EXA devolops tecnical projects for sets of spare parts for the GT26 Turbogenerator (former Alstom Turbocharger Model 36 and 26).
Manages the supply fo HTCTxx electromechanical equipments
